06 January 2793
It had been three days since the Hammidal's army had swept the Mardor entire fleet effortlessly, lefting them defenseless agnaist the power of the KSA. The General had complied with the orders of the Commander-in-Chief Ikeben, informing the Senate about his undisputed victory. Unusual among politicians of the Federation, resolutions came very quickly and Hallarz army was ready for occupancy.
But first there was something else to do, the KSA's Security Council had established how they would be treated the Mardor now they had surrendered, but to make it official ambassadors and diplomats from the KSA had to sign the surrender of King Razoscare, using the Hammidal's flagship as a meeting place.
Hammidal flicked his wrist and his holographic watch appeared, it was almost time for the meeting. Hammidal gracefully entered the conference room of his ship, smiling at the thousands of soldiers who were formed in the stands of the room. The conference room was, in fact, a huge amphitheater built by Kalixtus was finely decorated with the classic colors of the Federation, a lot of blue and gold. In the stands, the soldiers were showing off all his medals, and in the center was the long glass table and the captain technological chair.
The general first class walked to the round glass table and stood in front of it, with the arms crossed, watching the four teleportation chambers where diplomats should appear at any time.

Torward Ole, Emissary of the United Free Peoples Coalition, was first to materialize on to one of the aforementioned transporter pads. He was a ball of a creature, shorter and stouter than the average Quaranian. He bore marks of age, though the uprightness of his physique could not put him past fifty. His hair was all but gone, reduced to a thin and shaggy mane crowning the rear of his skull. His protruding lower lip gave him -- along with his bulk -- the appearance of a bulldog.
His keen golden eyes landed on the rows of soldiers that lined the chamber. The sight caused him to grunt with satisfaction.
"An impressive display, general." said he from across the room in the powerful voice of a trained orator.
As he spoke, he stepped off the transporter pad with the aid of a brown wooden cane, adorned at the top with a metallic knob. While he walked, his upper body swayed from side to side in an exaggerated and almost clownish fashion around his massive center of gravity: his belly.

Four Aeoneonatrix come in next, Lingur, Callanni, Awesh and Cabar. Lingur felt a certain joy in being in this place, and this situation. His long time enemies, the wretched Mardor, ad finally been defeated. He was now here to sign their surrender. This surrender, which marked the end of his eternal war with the Mardor. This meant that soon, once the tyranny and NCKU had been defeated, and the issues in Clifsk had been resolved, the Aeoneonatrix could know something they have not known for twenty years, peace.

Ambassador Chakkeer Bellogav was the next to appear on the transporters. Chakker was old and he showed it. The last century had been a rough one, and years of dealing with the Aeons had been stressful, pushing even his tolerance.
Chakkeer scanned the room, and he knew one thing for sure: the Federation knew how to rub their victory in. "Quite a setup."
Chakkeer slithered to his seat. With the Mardor out of the way perhaps he'd finally get a break in his work.

Hammidal smiled and spread his arms to the newcomers.
"Welcome gentlemen and lady to my humble ship" said the General, showing a very obvious false modesty.
The General First Class turned gracefully and walked to his chair, which was logically a few feet higher than those of his guests. Hammidal indicated with a finger the seats around the table.
"Now, please, don't be shy, sit down" he said with a smile and an unnaturally sweet voice.
The chairs was ten aesthetic white and blue orbs with an aperture that could changed shape and size to allow who to sit in it, regardless of species or size, not be uncomfortable. The Chibar waited for all your guests to sit before continuing.
"As probably you know, Mardor forces were completely defeated, their fleet was completely destroyed after the great efforts of Mr. Lingur and myself. The Commander-in-Chief Ikeben has promoted me by such a feat, and has given me new orders, but for now let's hope they get the other gentlemen" Hammidal ask "Any of you want something to drink?"

Torward smiled and advanced towards his host, "I'll have water, if you please." Once he reached him he would offer his hand to him.
"Your victory is well deserved, general." said he with a jovial expression.

Hammidal kept his smile and shook hands with Torward.
"Thank you, Mr. Ole" said the general "Please sit down here"
Hammidal indicated a chair at his right. A cristal disc in the table slid showing a hole through emerged a glass full of water.
"The technology is facsinating, isn't it?" said the general.

Ole's eeyebrows rose with amusement.
"And you said this is a warship?" said he with a chuckle as he went to stand behind the chair indicated.

Hammidal laughed softly, was a hearty laugh, but anyone could have said he was well trained. It was a laugh seductive, elegant, laughter of genius aristocrat, which, curiously, was not Hammidal.
''I always said that if you are fighting outside, why don't have a place to relax inside, once the battle is finished" said the General.
Hammidal sat down in his chair and press an holographic botton, from one of the chair's arms emerged a small glass with a red drink. the Chibar tooke it and drank the red and viscous liquid in just a sip.
"Well, let's wait for the other gentlemen before continuing" said Hallarz, looking the teleporting chambers.

Hammidal looked the proyection of his holowatch again and sighed. It was time to start and most of the ambassadors were not in the meeting place.
"Well, let's start, we have not time to waste" said the General, at the same time when the lights lowered their intensity leaving the room in darkness.
From the hemispherical roof came a holographic projection representing the Katar sector and noted the different fronts of battle and the location of the allied forces. Hammidal pointed a finger Delcath area and the map performed a zoom on that area, the map pointed a small blue circle the area where the USF's fleet was and with a gray circle the Mardor Empire territories.
"As you know, the Mardor territories are, acording with the resolution of the KSA's Security Council, once we end the sign of the treaty, a part of the KSA and I and my troops were selected to enforce the law in these territories." said Hammidal "Now, I want that you listen the document, please Mr. Ole, could you read the resolution?"
Once Hammidal said that, an holographic proyection of the treaty appeared in front of the FPC emissary.

Before Buldier's second emote.
Razorscare and his two accompanying guards arrive, unarmed. Razorscare has a look of frustration on his face. He looks at all of the other parties with hatred and anger on his face. As he and his guard sit down. He contemplates how he's lost everything. He wished he could reach over and crush these people's wind pipes, but he knows he can't. He has no recourse but to sit there, infuriated, but helpless.

Ole nodded and stood with the help of his cane. He had been told how the projection worked beforehand, though he still felt that he would have been more comfortable working with the folded paper copy he had tucked away in his inner coat pocket.
"This treaty," he began in a loud voice, eloquent despite the handicap of his thick lips, "written by the United Free Peoples Coalition, was accepted by the Security Council yesterday. I, as representative of the Katar Sector Alliance, have been tasked with delivering it to you, High King Razorscare." He gestured towards the royal, clearly addressing him. "You may sign it in front of these witnesses. Their signatures will also appear on the document."
He took a breath, joined his hands behind his back, and dove in.
"The treaty, titled 'Instrument of Mardor Surrender,' reads:
"ARTICLE I: The Mardor Empire hereby proclaims peace with all of the constituents of the Katar Sector Alliance. Any Mardor forces still in the Aeoneonatrix Empire are ordered to immediately stand down and surrender to the Guardians of Ku-Rokti.
"ARTICLE II: The Tormenters of Malvire are hereby disbanded and disarmed, with control of the Mardor's possessions, colonies, and protectorate territories transfered over as mandates of the Katar Sector Alliance. These possessions, colonies, and protectorate territories will be lawfully occupied by forces of the Katar Sector Alliance without resistance from former Mardor military forces or Mardor citizens. The Katar Sector Alliance reserves the right to use force to enforce its laws.
"ARTICLE III: The territories delineated on the attached map will no longer be lawfully considered a part of the Mardor Empire. The Mardor Empire will still exist in law––its boundaries outlined on the map––but will remain under occupation by the Katar Sector Alliance until the Security Council collectively decides to end the mandate.
"ARTICLE IV: Henceforth, High King Razorscare will not take part in the government of Mardor space. In return for his cooperation, High King Razorscare will lawfully remain High King of the Mardor Empire, and will be treated with the dignity and respect accorded to individuals of his rank. His property in his palace on Malvire will remain his and he will be accorded an armed personal guard of three hundred individuals strong.
"ARTICLE V: The Katar Sector Alliance retains the right to terminate the previous article to immediate effect if it feels that High King Razorscare has ceased to cooperate."
Having finished, he looked up from his reading and looked directly at Razorscare. "Will you sign this document?" he asked. His features had lost the joviality they had worn when he entered the room. The severity of his current expression gave him and his golden eyes an almost frightening air.

"Yes," Razorscare said, barely hiding his anger.

Ole nodded solemnly and placed a hand on top of the holographic projection of the treaty. With a downwards motion, he slipped it back into the table.
"He will sign if you provide him the means to do it." he said, looking to Hammidal.

Hammidal nodded and pressed an holographic button on the arm his chair. The table moved and drew a semicircle in the area of the table opposite to the General Chair, suddenly this area sank and created something quite similar to glass steps from the table itself, which the zone don't altered had acquired the shape of a crescent moon. Someone with a critic eye would say that the Federation loved the medialuna shapes, or at least Hammidal did.
"I think that you have the original version of the treaty, Mr. Ole" said Hammidal "And, for tradition of the KSA nations, we will use classical ways: ink and paper"
At the moment Hammidal ended the sentence, a little inclined platform emerged from the table, perfect to place paper and read its contents. Beside the platform also emerged crystal inkwell.
"Please Mr.Ole, put the original version here" said the General First Class, pointing to the plataform.

Ole nodded and reached into his inner coat pocket to withdraw a white cylinder of paper. This he unrolled as he strode over. Once the two-page document was flat, he placed it on the escritoire. There was plenty of room for the dignitary's signatures on the second page.

Hammidal smiled to Razorscare.
"Please, Mr. Razorscare, sign the treaty" then Hammidal looked to his guests "then, all the here presents will do the same, as a sign of our decision to come finally to peace with the Mardor and their king".
Hammidal skillfully hid the joy he felt when he saw his enemy humiliated. So many lives taken away, so many suffering caused by that pathetic coward, now have justice. The first-class General rose from his seat and walked calmly, surrounding the glass table crescent-shaped to be standing next to the platform where the document rested expectantly, the document finally mark the first step towards peace in Katar.

Razorscare grabbed the document in his hand and signed it as quickly and vigorously as possible. He was no longer capable of hiding the anger on his face, and it was all he could do to restrain himself from obscene gestures. He tossed it over to Lingur, as if trying to get it out of his sight as soon as possible. He slumped back in his chair, staring at all parties with hatred on his face.

Lingur was equally unable to hide his joy as he picked the document up. He signed it, slowly and gently, savoring the moment. Lingur passed the document on to Callanni. Callanni was probably equally joyful, but much better at hiding it. She Passed it on to Cabar, who had on his trademark friendly version of a poker face, just like he always did in public. Awesh took it next. He always had a look of delighted glee on his face, and this occasion was little different, making it difficult to tell how much of it was due to the occasion and how much was due simply to his being Awesh.

Chakkeer had a respectful smile , a product of his long career, as he was handed the document. Inside, however, he was bursting with joy. He took a moment to admire the the completed first page and its implications. Flipping to the second page, Ambassador Bellogav signed the document on behalf of the Farengeto. Letting loose a slight grin, he passed back the signed treaty.
