Ah. 3.5 is more advanced than the Aeons, and a lot more advanced than they need to be >.<

Hm. So what should we set it to then?

4.15 was fine. 3.5 is considered to be the beginning of medium-large intergalactic fictions.

I changed the tier, though the Katar Sector page might stay unchanged for a while (this weird bug I have to work around)
Also, I just want to make sure that Opel is fine with RP'ing now

Sure, the RP can start.
I'd post this reply yesterday, but wasn't able to.
Also, the Cog will be blue, the thunderbolts will be yellow and the background will be red.
(Also, the Miperiors are carbon-base lifeforms, right?)

Miperiors are carbon-based, though partially robotic for reasons unknown (for now). Ace, you might want to change the Tier of Amphibibots to 4.15, which is the Miperiors' Tier. Or if you want to, you could boost it up to about 4 and make it so that the Miperiors learn from the Amphibibots. At any rate, Tier 3 is pretty high up, I think that's where the Dominatus are at.
Anyways, for the sake of clarity, I'll call the IC page The Amphibibots, but the actual fiction page we'll write it on on the wiki will likely have a different name. I'll go and make the IC page ASAP.

Alright, made the thread. Ace, I thought we would be able to do things from alternating viewpoints (I write about things on the Miperian homeworld, you write about what the Amphibibots do).

Everybody underestimates the advancement of tier 4 =P.

I'm only interested in Tier 3 because Intergalactical travel.

Except the Katar Sector is supposed to be a place for smaller fictions to interact and thrive without having to live under the shadows of the larger intergalactic fictions. If we all acquire intergalactic travel, what's the point of being so close?
All (the Drodo, FPC, and DT excluded) of the Katarian nations still rely primarily on warp drive to get around, a method of travel too slow for intergalactic voyages.

Tier 4 has good things too D: Besides, the Amphibibots are a small empire right now, they wouldn't have too much business traveling across galaxies.

If you're really looking to expand the empire, you can either slowly up the tier and empire size as time goes on or join in AD. If you win the war, the technology you receive as the spoils of victory will certainly provide a boost to your tier.

And I know Tier 4 is good.

Well... Tyranny technology is notorious for being extremely hard to reverse engineer, while IoW technology is, because of their policies of quantity over quality, hardly better than ours in this part of the gigaquadrant. The KSA will end up sharing and streamlining technologies and equipment, though.
